As happy as the expression on this pigeon’s face appears—that’s how happy Animal Rahat’s rescue team is to have helped save his life.

The bird was hopelessly entangled in kite string and hanging by one delicate wing from the top of a 100-foot tower.

Luckily, someone reported this little bird’s plight to Animal Rahat, and its rescue team members immediately rushed to the scene. They enlisted the help of the local fire department, but even its tallest ladder wouldn’t have reached the terrified bird. Running out of time and with no other options, a brave member of the fire department, who is experienced in climbing trees and tall buildings, volunteered to make the 100-foot climb. He scaled the tall tower, carefully collected the trapped pigeon, and carried him down to an Animal Rahat staff member waiting below.

The bird was transported to Animal Rahat’s office, where the rescue team gently cut away the remaining kite string before administering a painkiller and vitamin drops. The team kept the pigeon there for a few days of rest and recuperation.

Once he was fully recovered, Animal Rahat staff released the joyful bird near where he was found. Before flying off, he perched near his rescuers for a moment as if wishing them a grateful goodbye.
