You may have heard of sending unruly teenagers to stay with family “back home on the farm” in order to keep them out of trouble in the city. The cat below seems to be living the feline version of this tale. A few months ago, Animal Rahat was called to rescue her when she was trapped in a duct on the third floor of an apartment building. The team spayed and vaccinated her and returned her to the neighborhood the next day.

Well, last month the group rescued the same cat from the same duct. (There must have been something quite tempting in there!) This time, the team thought that she would be safer “living the country life,” so off to Animal Rahat’s sanctuary she went. Now named Jacquie, she was initially wary of the boisterous resident dogs, but they’re now bonded.
