Imagine the terror of tumbling over the edge of an open well and falling down nearly 70 feet before splashing into the water at the bottom. That’s exactly where one bullock had the misfortune of finding himself, trapped in water so deep that he had to swim in endless circles, hoping help would arrive before he became too exhausted to keep his head above water.
But help did come—in the form of Animal Rahat’s team of experienced animal rescuers, with a bit of assistance from a local crane operator who met them at the site.
With guidance from the rescue team, the bullock’s owner—who had cautiously climbed down into the well—looped the crane belts around the bullock’s body.
The crane quickly but carefully pulled up the bullock and set him on the ground to be cleaned off and examined by Animal Rahat’s veterinarian. He had some minor abrasions that required treatment, but soon he recovered from the ordeal and returned home with his grateful owner.
