Indian kites are powerful raptors who sail through the air with awe-inspiring grace. So when Animal Rahat was notified that one of these majestic birds was lying under a bus—motionless and face-down in a puddle, surrounded by litter and debris—it was clear that something was very wrong.

She appeared to have no external injuries or obvious ailments, so Animal Rahat took her back to the office to rest under the observation of veterinary experts. They nourished her with food and vitamins to speed with her recovery.

Soon, she was able to get up and started behaving normally again. Once the veterinarian confirmed that she had fully recovered, she was taken to a safe, open area to be released back into her natural habitat. The Indian kite immediately took off, spreading her wings wide and soaring high into the air, giving her rescuers a beautiful sight.
