A compassionate group of runners went the extra mile—26.2 of them to be exact, or 42.2 kilometers—to aid Animal Rahat’s vital programs. Runners Yogendra Nikam, Erika Goyal, Seema Raul, and Ritesh breezed past the finish line at the Mumbai Marathon, proudly sporting Animal Rahat shirts to raise awareness of our organization’s mission with every step.

These athletes know that while they choose to spend long hours on their feet, working animals do not, and their efforts will help replace horses, donkeys, and bullocks with electric vehicles and provide the animals a safe and comfortable retirement. Philanthropy has always been a central part of the Mumbai Marathon, so watch for your chance to sponsor runners and support our work in future races!
