In 2018, Animal Rahat celebrated its 15th anniversary, and thanks to the help of caring supporters, it was an epic year.
Animal Rahat was able to come to the aid of more than 16,000 animals. Its scouts and rescue teams sterilized more than 900 dogs, spared more than 2,500 bullocks the torturous trek to the Chinchali Fair, treated nearly 4,000 bullocks and ponies who had been forced to make the arduous journey, and saved more than 270 goats, donkeys, monkeys, snakes, calves, and other animals from often deadly situations—and that’s only part of the story!
