A call came in about this little buffalo calf who was spotted all alone and shivering in the cold morning air. An Animal Rahat staffer went to numerous villagers in search of his owner, but everyone denied knowing where he had come from. So off he went to Animal Rahat’s sanctuary. Now named Mahesh, he’s getting to know lots of new friends, and chances are he’ll be an especially fitting companion for the other rescued buffalo calf, Lalu.
