Animal Rahat teams have been out and about holding community meetings in the areas the group serves. Children and adults listened intently as staff discussed the role of clean water and food in helping birds to survive the unforgiving heat. Attendees learned about keeping their water troughs free from parasites and how to access free or low-cost rabies vaccines for their companions from Animal Rahat. Residents of one village were briefed ahead of the planned arrival of the sterilization and vaccination clinic.
